BDR Capital Partners announces Sonata at Columbia Station, a new 95 unit apartment community in the heart of Columbia City adjacent to the new Columbia City Light Rail Station. The community will be constructed to “Built Green” standards, and will feature modern studio, 1 & 2 bedrooms designs. Many homes will overlook the adjacent community park and recreation fields.

BDR Capital Partners is planning a four-story “mixed use” building on the northeast corner of the intersection MLK Way and Alaskan Way adjacent to the new Columbia City light rail station. The project includes approximately 8,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor and approximately 70 underground parking spaces.

BDR has completed numerous housing projects in the Columbia City and Rainier Vista neighborhoods over the past ten (10) years. Tenants and home buyers are drawn to Columbia City for the convenience of living near a light rail station with close proximity to downtown Seattle, but without the high price of a downtown Seattle location.

BDR plans to start construction on the community in June 2015. The project architect is NK Architects of Seattle. Financing for the project is being arranged by Sherron Associates of Bellevue. A General Contractor has not yet been selected.

Units will be available for occupancy in the summer of 2016.
